Wrestling Philosophy:

At Centennial, we believe learning is the key to success and we will continually strive to help every wrestler become a champion in wrestling and in life. The Coaching staff for this team conscientiously works to prepare these student-athletes to experience success on and off the mat.

As such, we believe in promoting an attacking style of wrestling where the pin is the ultimate objective. We place a high premium on position and forcing the action in every aspect of the match. Wrestlers on this team will work to have a “weapon” from every position.

Wrestlers who have participated on this team have become accustomed to the physical demands of hard wrestling. We will strive to build on this ability to work hard by adding knowledge and technical skill so everyone can experience success on and off the mat.
