Noll takes third, Peterson places 4th

Centennial wrestlers were one of 84 teams from six states competing at Rumble on the Red on December 28 and 29 at the Fargodome in Fargo, ND. The tournament is one of the largest wresting events in the country and gets its name from the Red River which flows between Fargo and Moorhead. This year, more than 1,400 high school varsity and JV wrestlers competed on 22 mats. The event drew 54 teams from Minnesota, 24 from North Dakota, three from South Dakota, and one each from Nebraska, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.

Seven Cougars wrestled at the varsity level and finished in 35th place with 55 team points. Leading Centennial were John Noll, who finished third at 182, and Cody Peterson, who placed fourth at 195. On the JV side, 79 schools participated. Centennial had nine wrestlers competing and finished in 68th place with a total of 28 points.
